Open up your internet browser and go to a website that allows you to download free fonts (a good site to use is www.dafont.com)
Step Two:
Search for a font you like. Then, over on the right hand side click download.
Step Three:
At the bottom of the screen a bar will appear. Click save. After it saves another bar will appear and click open folder. Now right click on the folder you just downloaded and click extract all then click extract.
Step Four:
Now, double click the font file and a window will pop up. At the top of the window it will say install font. Click that. The font is now installed. If you had Gimp open while installing the font you will need to close Gimp down and open it again.
